Tanks

In addition to the Ecodan heat pump sets, Mitsubishi Electric offers a wide selection of storage systems. All heat pump buffer storage tanks, multifunction tanks and heat pump drinking water cylinders are precisely tailored to the Ecodan components to which they can be connected, enabling seamless integration.

SIMPLY ALWAYS

MEETING SPECIFIC NEEDS

The primary task of the buffer storage tank is to supply energy for defrosting the heat pump. In addition, the multifunction tank buffers the energy from various heat generators (thermal solar plant, wood boiler, etc.) and also provides the option of connecting a further fresh water station in order to generate extra drinking water. The drinking water cylinder can be supplied in a range of different sizes as required.

Description

The PZ/PZR multifunction buffer storage tank is suitable for all hot water central heating systems featuring heat pumps and enables the additional integration of solid fuel boilers, oil-fired boilers, solar plants, gas flow heaters and electric flow heaters. The multifunction buffer storage tank is equipped with a stove-enamelled powder coating for perfect corrosion protection. An integrated layer separating plate and thermal layer unit ensure optimum temperature layering and thus enable the efficient production of hot water. In the ECO SWIFT-EZ fresh water station, the drinking water is heated to the specified tapping temperature according to the throughflow principle. In this way, the integrated heat exchanger is always supplied with the smallest amount of heating water from the buffer storage tank that is necessary in order to maintain a constant tapping temperature. The special design of the heat exchanger means that a low return temperature of the heating water to the buffer storage tank is to be anticipated. In recording the temperature difference and volume flow data, the electronic control system simultaneously determines and stores the amount of heat that is consumed. The fresh water station is equipped with a circulation connection including a pump. This pump is activated by the integrated control system via a dedicated program.
